Adriana Marianella, Principal
As the Principal of Mara Partners, she oversees a multi-disciplinary global hospitality advisory firm.
Adriana was formerly the Chief Development Officer for NeueHouse and Fotografiska, where she led the brands’ global expansion and design development across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Earlier in her career, she spent 11 years with The Standard and André Balazs Properties (Chateau Marmont, Chiltern Firehouse, Sunset Beach, and The Mercer), where she began as Chief of Staff & Director of Business Development to André Balazs. She later served as Vice President of Brand Development & Experiential for Standard International (Standard Hotels, Bunkhouse Group & Peri Hotels).
Adriana is a Board Director for award-winning B-Corp sustainable tequila, Mijenta & Tres Tribus mezcal.
She is an active voice in the hospitality industry, speaking at leading forums such as the FastCompany Innovation Festival, YPO, ALIS, ILC, BLLA & BDNY. She serves on the Advisory Board for the Independent Lodging Congress and has judged for Sleeper Magazine’s AHEAD Awards and the Hospitality Design Magazine Awards.
Philanthropically, she is a longstanding board member of UNICEF NextGen and a founding board member of Chefs for Impact.
Adriana holds a B.A. from Brown University and has been a guest lecturer at Parsons School of Design and SciencesPo Paris.
Johan Skattum,

Johan has built an expertise in assessing development opportunities originating from his background in commercial real estate, hospitality development and design. He has worked on successfully launching and growing hospitality concepts ranging from coworking start-ups to membership clubs, restaurants, and private art museums.
Johan`s hospitality efforts began at Tishman Speyer, working in operations of their Coworking platform, Studio, as well as launching new locations in the company`s portfolio properties in New York.
In development, Johan worked for private members club, NeueHouse, and photography museum, Fotografiska, where he underwrote deals and expansion projects in new global markets.
Alongside the Development team, Johan successfully raised capital for development projects and managed investor relations.
Johan holds a B.S. from Northeastern University, and a Masters Degree in Real Estate from Cass Business School in London.
Frederic Løvenskiold,
Partner
Frederic is the former Commercial Director at Fotografiska, where he led the development of the global business strategy and commercial initiatives, playing a crucial role in the brand’s expansion and signing of new franchise locations.
Previously, as Director of Finance and Development at CultureWorks, Frederic worked on raising over $100M in equity and debt financing. He was instrumental in launching and signing new locations for both NeueHouse and Fotografiska across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Frederic began his real estate career at Savanna Fund, performing financial analyses and underwriting for major office deals in New York City.
Frederic holds a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
